Our facilities are suitable for most purposes, from meetings to parties and dance classes. They are available to hire, with all funds going back to support the retention of Pettinain Hall as a community asset (not-for-profit), supported by Sustainable Pettinain.
The hall is typically used for:
- community hosted events such as Hogmany, Halloween and Xmas parties,
- for private bookings such as birthday parties and funeral wakes,
- for privately or commercially booked sports and fitness events and crafting workshops
- as a place to discuss key community matters and support social sustainability through for example through participation in the Warmer Space Initiative.
The hall is a suitable space for hosting business requiring accommodation on a temporary basis, for example housing Eric Wright and associated colleagues as they completed on the new bridge over the Clyde, or to support those working outdoors who need dry spaces with catering facilities, for example film crews requiring an accessible, warm and dry base when working locally.
Below are some examples of how the hall has been used. But please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss your requirements. Please email: contact@sustainablepettinain.org.

During the summer months the car park adjacent to the hall provides the perfect community space for events such as BBQs, or in this case making use of our community pizza ovens.

Adjacent to the hall is a historic kirk, dating back to the 1700s. We hope in the near future this venue will be open to the public and even available for weddings and other religious ceremonies. Pettinain Community Questionnaire
Sustainable Pettinain SCIO and Pettinain Community Council are running a questionnaire to help us better serve our wonderful community. We greatly value everyone's input and encourage all residents and those who use the community spaces to take the questionnaire.
